Postcards from the Planet...
Greetings from Planet Phantom!
This is the strangest place I have ever been to!!! The land is dusty with an awesome view of the golden mountains. My alien friends are very nice, but they say it’s called Planet Phantom because of the Silver Yeti that lives in the dark caves of Walasala! SCARY!!!! The food and drinks are stunning. My favourite meal is Tiger's Tail with Beetle Juice Sauce. Everyone is acting like its summer but it’s snowing, strange. Don’t worry though I’m warm by doing my gross-ary shopping. Yesterday I even went in the gold streams by snorkeling through the gold crystal caves! So fun!!!!!!!!!!!! Wish you were here!
See you soon, Gloria
Greetings from Planet Slick!
This Planet is probably the strangest and prettiest places I’ve ever been. The zoffle trees are a main thing in this landscape. The ground is covered in silver moss and in the distance there are crystal mountains which are sharp and smooth. I know this because I found some time to do some mountain climbing. The local “creatures” gave me some of their finest delicacies like the tail of the choo choo chicken and the ear of the weeping wombat. However none of those foods came to my liking. Fortunately the weather has been great as there are usually dust storms. We also went hoverboarding and dust skiing!
Wish you were here, Daisy

Making Oobleck
This morning room nine went out on the field in groups to make oobleck. Oobleck is gooey and messy and looks like milk. You get water and corn flour, two cups,a spoon and a bowl.First you put the water in one of the cups and then poor it in the bowl. Then get the corn flour in the other cup and poor it in the bowl. After start mixing it slowly with the spoon. Then start building up speed as you go.Poor in more corn flour if the texture is very sloppy. Keep mixing till the oobleck is not lumpy. The oobleck fells like a liquid When you put your hand in slowly. But when you put your hand in fast it fells solid. Oobleck is fun to make it fell like a really cool activity to experiment with.

Futuristic cities
Room 9 have been working on futuristic cities for the past two weeks. Our work had to have lots of weird shaped buildings. My work has a LOT of
detail. We used bright felts to partly colour our city. First we drew random
buildings of what we thought what the future may look like. Next we drew lots of
detail on our buildings and in the sky (if you think there will be a sky). After
that we drew over our pencil with vivid if the vivid was to thick to go over the little details we used Stabilo pen. Lastly we partly coloured our cities with bright felts. Here are some that are finished.
